Advanced Breast Imaging,
Intentional Wellness
The first platform combining 3D Quantitative Transmission ultrasound, AI, and biomarkers for safer, earlier, more accurate care.
No Ionizing Radiation
No Contrast-Dye Injection
No Compression, Comfortable
Claustrophobia-Free
The QTI Breast Acoustic CT™ scanner performs a standardized scan of a whole breast without using compression, ionizing radiation, or contrast agent injection, and generates true 3D images with remarkable accuracy and precision.
QTI’s Breast Acoustic CT™ scanner is FDA-cleared as a supplemental screening device for breast imaging, including follow-up for inconclusive or suspicious mammogram findings. It may be particularly valuable for women with dense breast tissue where conventional breast imaging modalities may be less effective.Superior patient experience.
A QTscan is performed, one breast at a time, with the patient laying in a prone position on the examination table with the breast suspended in a warm water bath inside the scan tank. Images are automatically acquired on the pendant breast positioned with the nipple as a point of reference. The transducer arrays rotate about a vertical axis to fully circle the breast in the coronal plane. The arrays are then translated 2 mm vertically, repeating the scanning process until the entire breast is scanned.
QTI’s Breast Acoustic CT™ platform gives women more options to ensure their breast health. The safe and comfortable QTscan is the preferred/better choice for a wide patient population, including women with contrast agent allergies, breast implants, claustrophobia, or wellness intentional.
Effective Imaging for Dense Breasts, meaning less potential for biopsy call back versus traditional mammography

Imaging In the United States, 40%-50% of women ages 40-74 have dense breasts, and it is even more common for young women. Initial results from QTI’s ongoing clinical trials suggest that the QTI Breast Acoustic CT™ platform can effectively and consistently identify abnormalities, including cancers, within dense breasts that were not identified by mammograms. The FDA Has Recognized the Importance of Breast Density in Breast Cancer Screening: The FDA recently recognized the importance of breast density in breast cancer screening by requiring mammography facilities to inform patients about their breast density. This allows women to consult with their doctors to assess their cancer risk and determine whether they need additional breast screening.Prebook your
